The State of Illinois requires students entering Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grades to provide a school physical within one calendar year of registration for school. If you have a preschooler going into Kindergarten next year, or a 5th grader going into 6th, or an 8th grader who will be a freshman in August 2013, you may get their physicals at any time between today and August of 2013 and it will meet the requirement. Please do not wait for the summer rush to make your appointment!! Make it now!! Students who do not have the required physical in August will not be allowed to start school until they have their physical on file.
Galesburg High School North is closed for Winter Break. School will resume normally-scheduled days on Monday, January 7, 2013. We look forward to working with our students again in the New Year. Happy Holidays!
